The total amount of Bitcoin can never change. There is no one in the world who is able to create more Bitcoin. This is made possible through the use of blockchain technology. Because of this, Bitcoin cannot lose its value from the manipulation of a handful of powerful people.
Old money, on the other hand, can lose its value from money printing.
Secure
Bitcoin cannot be hacked. A global network of over 1,000,000 people (and growing) are dedicating their computer power to ensure that Bitcoin can never be compromised. Because of this, no one can take your Bitcoin. Bitcoin will become even more secure as more and more people use it.
Old money, on the other hand, can be confiscated or stolen.

With Bitcoin, anyone can send money across the world instantly. The fees are lower than with any other kind of money, and in some cases non-existent.
